How much do removals cost?

For local removals ( Within Norwich) we operate a simple system based on an hourly rate of £35, this includes our van (load area approx 7.5ft x 5ft x 5ft), fuel, administration, driver and, at your request loading/unloading, if required an extra helper (2 man team) can be supplied at no extra charge. Obviously, if you are fully prepared for the move and have easy access it will be a little quicker than if you live at the top of a tower block or haven't packed anything but in either case, you will be able to estimate how much it will cost you before we begin. We have a minimum charge of £50 (equivalent to 1¼ hours). And no, we don’t charge extra for weekends, bank holidays or out of ‘office’ hours.

For longer distances or larger removals please contact us by email for a very competitive price (please include the move from and too postcodes).

What about a deposit?

We don’t ask for one. However, if you need to cancel please let us know as soon as possible so that other bookings can be taken. A fee of £50 may be payable (circumstances dependant) if you cancel within 24 hours of the move date. Should this apply we will invoice you.

The Legal Bit

Norwich Van Man offers limited insurance against negligence but terms and conditions do apply. Please view our terms by clicking on the terms page. You are agreeing to these terms when booking and a disclaimer will need signed upon our arrival, by whom ever is in charge of the move. We recommend you follow our packaging guide and contact your home insurance company for additional cover, a small fee may apply. While we regret any inconvenience caused this action has been taken to protect Norwich Van Man Removals and their Staff.

Can I trust your references

Good question, some companies do write their own reviews or only show the good ones. However that’s not us, Norwich Van Man is upfront and honest.
